Helping out with the organisation of a race has its perks. If you're lucky, you get to meet your guest stars in the flesh...and even hang out with them!
Before the race, we attended a talk organised by ANZA. Their members wanted to know Tinker's darkest, deepest secrets on how to become a world champion!
There was a post chill out dinner at Fabricca, Dempsey, organised by the folks at Bike Asia. In ze photo, Tinker's on me left, followed by Nino and BitBit:
And finally, we met up with Tinker at Microbrewery, Clarke Quay for farewell drinks on Sunday....Jive Talkin' dedicated a Queen song to Tinker, sponsored by Cannondale! Groovy, baby!
Definitely a Tinker-Ling and Humble-Ling sensation being in the presence of Mountain Biking royalty! :)
